An aspect that crossed my focus is that Jim is posting Des'
parody work here, correct? (At least to the fchan-whatever
site?) I am unable to browse most 'interesting' sites due
to the nature and location of my internet connection, so am
can not verify some facts, so please pardon me if I am a
little ill-infomed. If Des' parody work is hunted down by
the 'big boys' (aka the legal trademarked / copyright
owners), would you want their wrath aimed at one of the
'caring' sites? This way, he can air the 'high risk' art
with minimum risk of repercussion to himself, posting is
still in his control to a degree and at absolute worst the
big boys will close down a site frequented by 'not-so-nice
netizens'.
But yes, I can well understand peoples' ire about
'rewarding' those who would not play nicely.

though maybe not the same twists as JMH...
