Glad to hear folks are happy to hear the news. But this surgery
is not really a "fix". The damage has already been done, and the
purpose of the surgery is to stop it from getting any worse. I
monitor my blood sugars constantly now, and make necessary
adjustments to my doses as required. The most important thing is
for me to maintain my sugars as close to normal as possible (normal
is between 80-120 for the average individual. I can currently keep
them between 70 and 160, which is about as good as I can get it.)
The right eye (the good one) does occasionally bleed, and I can
see little spots in the vision field of that eye. But as long as I
watch my sugars, I'm fairly confident I can keep any further damage
from occurring between now and when I get the surgery.

Just a little note here, for those of you interested in
this "hidden site". I feel it is important to mention that the site
will contain artwork which some folks may not agree with. A lot of
the pictures and/or comics cross a lot of moral lines, and there are
some subject matters which I would rather not be known for having
drawn. But again, if you can find the site (when it's ready), then
you'll be able to see a bunch of the stuff I've been keeping out of
the public eye.
Didn't get to work on BTT this weekend, since I had to work
yesterday, and today was taken up with Mother's Day and all that.
I'll be working late every day this week, but will try my best to
get to it by next weekend. I've got some fan art, another story,
two comics, and one or two pictures to post there.

More information will be posted shortly ( and once a few designs
are drawn up). Stay tuned for more!
