What I would suggest you do is turn your paw to writing a
few short fanfiction stories and prove yourself as having
good ideas and plots. That will let you do what you can do
well in addition to drawing a following if your scripts are
good. You can always go back and 'graphic novel' or comic
strip the story later if it works well.

A very good tip is NOT to post scripts as fanfiction. They
result in a boring read as they are usually devoid of the
language usage that makes reading interesting.

I've a fair to-do list and want to try and get some of my
own stuff onto paper. I'm going to try and entice David to
do a few illustrations for me for the 'Skunkworks
mini-novel' I am working on (you'd think while not working
a full time job you'd have more time available!).

From what you are suggesting of the plot in the following
messages you posted, I'd have to question whether the
sisters are being used 'in character'. Even though they
are fairly wild, how many 17 year old girls do you know of
who would run around doing what you are suggesting? :-/
Yes, I know we are working in a fantasy genre, but
'plausible feel' gives the story a lot more readability.
If you or anyone else would like me to look over work (I
have a few criteria on what I expect - subject matter isn't
one of them), feel free to mail me off-group (and be
patient as I don't get on line as much as I'd like) and
I'll give you pointers and feedback. Spelling, basic
punctuation (though I'd prefer you use advanced punctuation
if you understand it!) and paragraphs I believe are not
unreasonable requests and a story plan (story overview /
scene summary) is extremely useful. 'Finished' stories I
expect to be at a level where you think they are ready to
post to the group before you send them to me - then I'll
read over them and send you back to do 'round two' and fix
stuff up. Don't expect me to find things (though I will
anyway!) - fix as much as you can before you send it my
way. I only want to edit/proof, not co-write it for you!

Eh, something horrible seems to find me every other day -
sometimes it's just from looking in the mirror. :-P
Jim only gets on line a few times a week, so patience is
required. The best way to contact him generally is to post
to the group and he will find it. Bombing his inbox with
frequent mails does nothing more than slow his response due
to taking time to wade through the text. :-)
Scrapper, Black Dragon, ideas are not the problem, time to
implement them is!
