that's a dead end, it's got nothing on caterwaul.
Lots of his friends' old stuff there, from a time when he gave or leased space to his fur-dom
pals.
your best bet is to send the HD to a place I send my bad HD's to:

Data recovery specialists. The only time they can't help is if the surface of the hard drive was
shaved
off by a bad drive head- if they see fine back powder when they open it, then it's truly dead.
Otherwise, the data can be rescued. Even if it whines or clicks as it tries to spin up. They can
fix that,
and then recover the data onto CDs for you. Circuitboard shot? It depends if they have a spare
circuitboard to put in, with the same size measurements as the original. However, that option
doesn't
work with certain hard drives whose media data is code-locked to the circuitboard.
Check to see if there's one in your neighborhood. I'll bet they're booked solid due to the
hurricanes...
Anyways, I think I have some stuff in my recovery cache before the trojan wiped my archiver's
copy.
I have lotsa hard drives to scan, mebbe some of it is on one of them.
I am hoping to get back the tech specs artwork of Treska and Onika, but it's not easy...
