A lot of IP Lawyers will work on consignment with nothing down -IF- you are
willing to pursue the case to fruition and not just back down, and if you
have a viable case. Bear in mind that the item in question must be a
registered copyright, HOWEVER, you do not need to pre-register it. (Please
bear in mind that pre-registering it does improve things, and remove many
delays.)
There are a few ex-furry-artists I know of who made enough living to retire
after three years by putting out "Highly Desirable" art, and then suing
over theft that they actually depended on happening in the furry community.
I also think you should post to Playmouse more, but that's just
me. Well... And a few other hundred people.
