Cool. *grin* You received an "Introaocular Lens ID Card," too? I had both
lenses replaced in '04, three months apart. Pretty cool in that I saw that
yellow hue as well when the first eye was done. But I also realized how poor
vision the opposite eye had become from the cataract as well. Pretty
interesting. I'd not been told that I asbsolutely had to wear dark glasses,
though, so maybe they've added some kind of UV in the newer lenses.The newer
lenses are softer and do have some flex in them for focusability. Especially
for folks who are on the younger side as it is being discovered that when
the eye muscles adjust and still do *some* flexing. Mine did and it was
apparently a surprise and delight to the eye surgeon - but he also did say
it was a sort of new break through lens, much softer than previous lenses.
