My main concern was the potential negative impact that a flase
claim like that could have to my standing. Most folks who know me
know there are certain things I simply, absolutely will not draw, no
matter how much money is waved in front of me.
I posted my response to the situation on lulz.net. Hopefully,
there will be enough brain cell activity there for the original
posters to realize they were, indeed, wrong in their initial
assessment. An apology would be nice, but I'm certain that is too
much to hope for from such stunted individuals.
In any case, Des and I got into a huge argument about this earlier
today. I think I might have made a dent, though, as she doesn't
seem quite so fired up about it. I told her to let me handle it in
a diplomatic fashion. This is a time for careful factual
presentation, not name-calling. Although, I must confess, sometimes
I, too, wish I could rip some people a new ass. But ultimately,
it's not that important. Her rant _was_ brutal, though (I proofread
it). I honestly believe if she posted it, there would be a lot of
people hurt and insulted by what she said, even if some of it IS
true. And it's not my practice to be a party to that sort of
malevolent behavior.
I still got that photograph, though. It was taken last December, so
it could be used in leiu (sp?) of whatever photo I couldn't find of
me earlier (someone was asking about my beard or something?) Des is
a little drunk in the photo, though, so I'd have to get her okay.
It was taken at one of her friend's house parties (that she dragged
me to, whee). Does film go bad over time? I ask this because that
photo, as well as most of the other ones on that roll, are kinda
shitty in quality. Or is that just because it's black and white
film, and that doesn't photograph too well at night? I'll try to
clean it up a little in Photoshop or something. It just looks kinda
gritty. (I'm not a photographer, so I don't know these things). Of
course, there could also have been something on the lens too, now
that I think of it. Oh well. It's just a stupid photo.

stupidity...
