Huh. Quite a cluster of discussions going on here. I reckon I'll
toss in my two cents.
I finished typing up a huge page (over 40k worth of text!) listing
all the species (22 of them), and sub-species (75, I believe) which
walk and talk on the trio's world. I also listed details about each
individual breed, the percentage of the population they comprise, and
their dietary habits. Took me all damn night to do that.
Regarding Bast and the others, there is a huge chunk of information
on them on Onika's site. But this version of their stories is a LOT
different than what you've seen or read thus far, so it should
provide an entertaining read (hint: Bast isn't always Feline!)
To date, both By The Tail and Skunkworks should be ready in a few
weeks (still have some art to set up for the Skunkworks site). After
those two are updated, Onika's site will debut (after all the typing,
there are still 22 images which have to be colored for that site).
The last site to go up will be Caterwaul, and I hope to have it up
long before the new comic/graphic novel comes out, perhaps sometime
in mid-2008. I will post a preview page from the newer version, and
compare it to the original. Huge difference!
