It's sad, I have access to so many high-end color lasers... If only I
could just send you one with the supplies, as most people here use 'em
for only B&W. (I used to do graphic design, and these make me
drool....) (Of course, they don't do bupkis for anything that isn't in
digital format. 'Less you count the monster Xerox down the hall that
can scan at very high res, color copy, and collate. I would've given
my left nut for that one about 20 years ago. :-)

Makes me want to start a real printing house for "alternative"
artists. It seems so unfair that you have to skulk around, and pay
prices like that.

No wonderment here. But, most of the people who do that are unaware
of what effort goes into the process, and those that download them
instead of paying for them ("because I can't afford it") don't realize
that the artist has to eat too.
It's not too much different from somebody coming up to me and asking
for free computer advice, or to come look at their home system. When
I tell them my consulting rate, they get all pissy. I tell 'em,
"Look, this is how I make my living. You're in construction (as an
example), would you come build a set of bookshelves for me for free?"
(I'm grumpy. I just spend way too much time in a "hot row" (very hot)
behin several racks of systems trying to trace down a problem with one
of them. My skin is crispy, I have a headache, and little patience
with douchebags right now.)
