Oh yeah, although I didn't go as crazy as I did with the Twinstar
and chop the frame and all that. The bike currently has aftermarket
fenders (for Harley. Ugh) which were modified to fit the Honda.
Bought a new tank for it on eBay. Has a 7-inch headlight instead of
the 5.75 incher, as well as a set of dual-filament spotlights.
Taillights are mini bullet lights mounted under the bobbed rear
fender. I put on a fastback-style seat (a lot of the Shadow-specific
parts were actually for the 1999-and-up Shadows, which were a bit
different than the '95).
Engine is a bit hopped up, including a 2-into-1 exhaust system and a
Kuryakyn hypercharger. Bumped the main jets from 115 to 125. Bike
sounds good, and really wants to jump when you blip the throttle.
It's painted a nice, bright Chevy orange. With a little luck, I'll
have the painting and artwork completed by the time summer rolls
around (too cold to work on it now, and I'm really in no physical
shape to do so). I can always send you a couple pics when it's done,
if you want, man.
And with that, we're now...back on topic.
