Hey all-

Sorry I haven't been on much lately. Had to get some lab work done
(a few times, of course. They never get it right the first time, it
seems), and I've been trying to get the Honda finished. Kind of a
catch-22 in this state, though. You can apparently get the title
switched over, but in order to get tags for it, you need to have a
license (with a motorcycle endorsement), and in order to get your
license for riding the bike, you need to have insurance. Which you
can't get until the bike is tagged. Methinks somebody in state
government must've been doing a shitload of acid on the day that rule
was made up.

So I'm finally scheduled to take the MSF course to get my license
(I've been riding for over 12 years without one, but they don't need
to know that. The class is either for newbies or folks with 3000
miles of less of experience. I've got about 100,000 miles worth, so
I'll have to play dumb at class, I guess. Besides, I'm too old to
keep outrunning cops and stuff. I'm sure the cops on this group will
be happy to hear that).

Other than that, I've been working on inking again. It's a little
rusty, but not too bad. The docs have been juggling my Prograf doses
(a medicine whose side effects include shakiness, amongst other fun
things). They found out that 4mg a day was a bit too much, 3mg a day
wasn't enough, and 3.5mg a day was still just a little under the
recommended level. But they don't make a .25 or .75mg pill, so I'm
kinda fucked until they figure out a better dosage or my body learns
to work with what it's being given.

Eric and DOPR, I'll get you those scans within the next day or
two. I just need to finish up some of the inking on them (they're
not colored, but I'm sure the tattoo artist will be able to fill in
the blanks). Also, I should have a new joke picture on the site by
this weekend, provided I don't fuck up the colors again (I get them
too close to the lines and they bleed over).

Other than that, same shit, different day. I'll try to check in
more frequently. I just get involved in working on the bikes, and
kinda go into that full force. Bad habit, I know...
