You would have thought license first, then all other things
to follow, but apparently not!

Yeah, good chance to practise basics - work on your slow
riding skills and stuff, scrape footpegs at 20mph in slow
turns, etc. :-)

Jim's Shadow is a 600, but his chopper, the Twinstar, is a
200cc! Having said that, it is tuned to some degree, so
may well be lighter and pokier than the school's 250's.
My tip for learners when buying your first bike (especially
if you are in an area that has power/size restrictions) -
get a bike that turns, brakes and handles well, because it
may not have the power to get away of some fool in a Trans
AM, but being able to swerve or stop (when some idiot
brakes in front of you) is most certainly very handy.
So Jim, is it true that you rattle when you walk? ;-)
Hmmm, I can feel a fan fiction in the works for Jim and the
sisters going for their bike licences - and this time
"learner drivers solution" isn't going to solve this
problems!
A thought - motorbikes in the USA still have their
side-stand on the left? This means they would 'lean the
wrong way' when parked at the side of the road!
Scrapper, Black Dragon, look once for yourself, then look
again for the other fool who isn't looking.
