> I lost my network and internet a few weeks ago, and haven't gotten
them fixed yet. I also spent the past week in the hospital due to
complications with the new kidney. I'll be going back this coming
Thursday, and hopefully they will be able to get it fixed quickly.
There appears to be a blockage in the descending ureter (the tube that
goes from the kidney to the bladder), most likely caused by scar
tissue. It is preventing proper drainage and thusly backing up into the
kidney, causing a decrease in function and severe swelling. I'm at home
now with some tubes poking out of me, and hope like hell I can get the
damn things removed on Thursday. On the upside, I do actually feel
better, since the kidney is once again at 100% functionality. --JMH,
borrowing a computer to get online...
I'm sorry you have the extra troubles. My girlfriend has had her own
problems with the new kidneys, but they work again. But she did get
broken ribs from when she had a heart attack and they had to revive
her. She still has good spirits.
Long Tom.
