One of those problems with having quick-healing metabolism - your body repairs quickly, but is more prone to generating scar tissue.

Sounds darn uncomfortable! Good thing you're sticking to a healthy diet, otherwise you could be rolling the dice to test your chances of having a reaction if you were eating processed rubbish. Extra salts, fats and 'irritants' (like caffeine, etc) are extra incompatable with the JMH body functions!

Spines, tubes, all the same for a porcupine? ;-)

That's a win - feeling better is usually a sign things are going in the right direction! Let's hope you're back up-to-speed soon.
Jim has said he won't be attending any conventions in the near future as medical conditions (low immune system, need for plenty of rest and healthy meals, body reacts badly to flying) as well as tight budgets will be keeping him away. Unless Ed Zolna is attending AC, it is unlikely anyone will be officially retailing Jim's art.

Broken ribs is definitely preferable to 'premature end of life'! Sounds like she's lucky with the replacement kidney and that someone was able to revive her!

Good to hear - positive outlook is very valuable. :-)
Scrapper, Black Dragon, smile, it will all work out in the end.
