Unfortunately, because of the online piracy, I've had to resort to
drawing anthro artwork as a hobby. I used to crank out a folio and a
few prints every month. But with the current online image-trading
trends, I've had to turn to other means to make money (which is fine,
I'm certainly not complaining); the downside to that is that is leaves
less time for producing anthropomorphic artwork. Therefore, a picture
which would normally take me, say, 30 hours to do, may now take as
long as 3 weeks, since I have to squeeze it in between work,
family/social events and other hobbies. It is no longer a job, but
rather a pasttime. I don't like it any more than you, but that's how
the cards have been played.

The joke picture's were a means to make folks laugh as little
subcultures within the fandom, while spoofing the new site. They were
being used as placeholders while the real work was being done
offline. "Why is the site taking so long?", I keep hearing. Well,
between eye surgery and failing health which led to a double
transplant last year, a move to another state, and having to produce
another kind of artwork as a means to make money (better than a 9-to-
5, actually), there's only so much time for the anthro stuff, no
matter how I try to arrange my schedule. Now then, in that remaining
time, I can either draw more art, or I can work on the site. There's
less taime available for the genre, and I must further split it by
trying to accomplish several things at the same time. Trust me when I
say, I will get the site finished. But sometimes, there just isn't
time to work on it. I don't live on the computer 24/7 like so many
others do these days. That's just not the way I am. So I accomplish
what I can, when I can.

And hopefully, most folks will be willing to wait for it.
