So basically you all will not e-mail Rich Reimer the owner of Grouply and
tell him to stop this?

here, here! I agree. I got one the other day from someone claiming to be
in a group I'm in. I had never heard of this person and I just deleted it.
If they want to contact me some other way, then fine but I will not touch
anything Grouply.

I just hate how either grouply or it's members send out the invites,
so I just mark it insta-spam and don't worry about it. I know it shows the
sender addy as being from an actual person, but if that's the only email
I've ever got from that person, then I've no reason to talk to them.

Since I just got a Grouply invitation, I might as well cross-post
a message concerning it from another YahooGroup, Orlando Furs.
I would also urge users to not use Grouply. From what I hear, and
take it at face value, Grouply is nearing the breaking point of the Yahoo
TOS.
But, to be fair, this is their information page, which has
convenient excuses for their less-than-angelic aura.

          Enjoy.
