--OK, my turn, and I'll admit some of those were of my influences too based on Watterson and Amend's creations as well. But my other influences were of (Books) Fallen Angels, The Giver, Banner in the Sky, and Maus; (Comics) Stan Lee, Frank Miller and Jim Lee; and yes, some forms of Animation play a part in helping me become what I am today in the form of Bugs Bunny, Gundam, DBZ, and other high-energy Action/Drama and even Comedy/Romance themes in those catergories.
But I have to say James, for one that doesn't collect furry art, you have, I believe, set the standard and raised the bar on the realism and the grasp on the characters that is just so Appealing and Amazing to look at. I know you've HAD to have just looked at your finished work and go, with a smile and say, "I did this, with my own two hands".
