I don't mess with CDs anymore as the data can get scratched out - DVDs
are in sandwiches - the layer is in the middle.

I don't think I'd do Blu-ray as they have a fault built-in, the
supposedly unscratchable blue filter can get scratched/polished off over
time.

Chalk one more point to DVDs. Yes Blu-rays can store 25 GBs, but that
blue antiscratch coating can only go so far to protect under heavy use.

I'll stay with DVDs as they are cheap way to protect data.

If you're sending data "for your eyes only," CDs are good as you can
easily destroy them, and are cheap, too..

I also am looking for some encoding format that will get a better frame
rate than 29.95 fps. Any ideas to make the new digital format close to
NTSC framerates (60fps)?
