For those not able to view at time of internet connection, may be able to use the technique I did when in the same situation (or do, since I only get internet at work).
When the email comes in, right-click and Save-As to a USB key and take the file home with you. Subsequently you should be able to find suitable viewing time.
And look at unemployment this way - you are no longer committed to 'wasting' 40 hours a week doing something you hate - now is an awesome time to look at your life and make those changes you always wanted but were afraid to make. The ONLY thing stopping you is you - if you _really_ want something, you'll find a way to make it happen! Persistence is the key!
