Good observations, man. I have some unfinished sketches of the costumes by themselves, including the mesh under-wrappings. The characters basically wrap a thin mesh (think panty-hose) material around the parts of their body under the uniform before actually pulling the uniform on. This prevents the fur from bunching up. Some areas, like the forearms or calves, utilize two-piece parts, so the mesh netting wouldn't be necessary there.

Since they are just sketches, I will be sure to pad out the uniforms properly before I actually ink and color the final versions (thanks for the observations!). Some pictures were drawn side-by-side on the same paper, but others (such as Veronika and maybe one other, but I can't remember which one now) were drawn on 2 separate sheets due to the character size on the paper. Oh, wait, the other one was Treska, which I haven't posted yet.

And yes, I have considered the possibility of overheating. I'm still working on the detail info for that, but will likely resort to some unheard-of technology (they're waaaay more advanced than we are, y'know), and fit the uniforms with an internal cooling system (no heating would be required, since they would get warm if the system were shut off). While many of the breeds have sweat glands (moreso than their primitive ancestors), most will pant when partaking in a lot of physical exertion (except lizards and their ilk).

Yeah, bummer about the cup holders. I guess Crystal didn't want to spend the extra money on 'em! ;P
