Greetings Skunkworks fans - I had written a long review the other day, only to have my mail program lose it all... Welcome to technology and being careless with not copying the text first.

The Penance picture was quite clever - it of course begs to see how long it will take for some Chan boarder to 'finish' the picture... >_<

Much more complex drawings in the new comic; agree with Inkwell's observations. Is definitely a 'darker' style, the higher level of realism takes the 'fun and frivolity' out of the depiction. A more toony style would not be as easy to 'take seriously'. I like toony styles, but the techniques Jim is using here is better suited to the current story.

Great to see you are getting some time to draw the things you enjoy.

Take care on the roads - I believe snowy conditions increase the 'entertainment factor' (summer down here in Australia at the moment - pushing 98oF again) and enjoy the Christmas season in what ever way gives you pleasure. Or do like I say for the Australian Christmas - it is not so much about celebrating the birth of Christ, but spending time with your family and friends - so it doesn't matter what religion you are, you can still spend time with the ones you love - and that's what's important.

Apologies for lack of interaction - RL is really good at keeping one busy!

PS, with ellipses, the 'four dot' ellipses was originated as an error in an US government document done by someone who didn't understand how they should be used, putting a period after an ellipses. Reading the grammar forums, it has been officially decided that this is not a sanctioned use and three dots is the only correct system. Three means there is something missing from here on - you don't need to 'end' the missing bit! S,BD.
