That would be a "Colossal" mistake (yuk yuk, I got the pun). To the best of my knowledge and memory, I think Colossus (is that spelled right? It looks funny) appeared to be anywhere from 6 1/2 feet to 12 feet tall (depending upon which artist was drawing him), had full tactile abilities, could be knocked out in a fight if hit hard enough, and was actually plated in armor (one comic from waaaaay back had someone forcibly separate the armor from his flesh). He was also a stand-in for the Mr. Universe competition.

Jeremy has an average build (not hyper muscular). He's about 5 and a half feet tall. He doesn't change in the blink of an eye, or with a light show effect. It's a rather painful sensation, since it starts from the inside outward. Once he's fully changed, he has zero tactile sensory input (he cannot feel if he's walking on solid ground, or tell if he's up against something unless the object in question halts his progress). An explosion at ground zero would just throw him back, probably quite far (depending upon the severity of the blast). He wouldn't get KO'd or anything.

I used the term "organic" since I couldn't think of any other way to explain the properties of the metal. It would be solid, yet allow normal fluid movement for him. If you can think of another term to explain that property, lemme know!
