Out of curiosity I checked. Colossus completely turns into metal and is
unable to partially transform. The change lends him superhuman strength and
endurance and makes him extremely resistant to damage. Certainly he's immune
to conventional weaponry and heat up to 9000 degrees Celsius. And he
requires no food, water or oxygen while transformed.

I don't know. The idea of turning into some sort of hard material has kicked
around so I don't think it's an idea that can be owned. But at the least
this character seems like a nod in the direction of Colossus. An homage
perhaps?

Out of curiosity, can he feel heat? I wonder because heat perception is
separate from touch and metal is known to be a good conductor. I assume he
can feel the location of his own body in space and the approximate load on
his own muscles since he can do things like walking.

That would be a "Colossal" mistake (yuk yuk, I got the pun). To the best of
my knowledge and memory, I think Colossus (is that spelled right? It looks
funny) appeared to be anywhere from 6 1/2 feet to 12 feet tall (depending
upon which artist was drawing him), had full tactile abilities, could be
knocked out in a fight if hit hard enough, and was actually plated in armor
(one comic from waaaaay back had someone forcibly separate the armor from
his flesh). He was also a stand-in for the Mr. Universe competition.
