Actually, the Cats N' Cameras strip is inked in a traditional comic strip method. The Caterwaul comic is drawn with sections of grey-toned colors, then detail is added with pencils and additional touch-ups. Basically, the Caterwaul comic is drawn backwards from the CnC comic.
The first Caterwaul comic has been drawn, though the pages have not been scanned it (nor has text been added). I need to finish most of the second issue before releasing the first one for publication. Given my regular work schedule and the numerous hospital visits I must make each year, it just makes good sense to be a little bit ahead with each book. I don't want to cut it too close by having to start working immediately on the next book once the previous one gets published! Remember, I draw regular artwork for the bulk of my income, and I absolutely HAVE to continue that work. Anthropomorphics, while fun, just doesn't generate enough income.

It's pretty much "open ended". I have no plans to leave the comic series.

Thanks! The content was decided mostly by a poll that Jim ran for awhile on the CnC site. It seems most folks want either "mostly XXX rated stuff" or "a mix of everything, but mostly XXX".
