Nah, it's just a one-off ink picture. I used it as a warm-up exercise for some detailed ink work I'm getting started on.

Yeah, dark backgrounds can really eat up pens. I usually use black Prismacolor markers for the big fill areas in pictures with a lot of black in them, as compared to super cheap markers that'll probably fade quickly. I sometimes sell the originals, so it's important to have the colors hold up!

Haha! It's not quite that bad, but close! I think markers are $4 a piece, pencils are about $1.50, and technical pens run about $15 for a set of four. Paper is pretty damn expensive, too. Yeah, using traditional stuff can really eat away at your wallet!
