Our town, (Sheboygan, WI) has outlawed even sparklers, this has been in effect for several years now.
Yet from the last week of June until nearly August, at night I hear firecrackers of all sorts going off.
Doesn’t really bother me or my two cats, but my next-door neighbor has a dog that hides in the shower during thunderstorms or when he hears firecrackers.
I didn’t go down “by da Lake” to the fireworks show this year, just too hot.
