Good one indeed Jim - nice to see you're putting your times on the pictures, it is always a good reference for yourself - if quality hasn't apparently improved, have you done it quicker?
They allow crackers around Chinese New Year and sparklers can be had any time (except Total Fire Ban days), but as for fireworks, unless you are licensed in pyrotechnics, you can't buy or use them here in Australia. Obviously illegal ones still get through (and accidents still happen...), but we don't really have any 'fireworks days' like the USA.
What temperatures are you getting over there at the moment. We're 'warming up' to a nice 12oC (53oF) here at the moment, if the sun comes out. And we're not really getting great snow either, despite fairly regular rain showers. Though probably better than the drought we'd had for the past 5+ years...
Imagine with anthros with full body fur - you'd need get that nice singed fur smell if you got a bit too close to the heater, camp fire, sparkler... Though having said that, it is probably an improvement over having a mild skin burn! Same goes with the sun - you'd be hot in the fur coat, but would reduce sunburn.
Scrapper, Black Dragon, what hair?
