If I understand this correctly, you want to make prints of the originals in order to display them without risking the welfare of the original pieces? You should be able to take them to any Kinko's self-service, get some really good paper (the stuff they stock the machines with is cheap crap most of the time), and make a copy/print. You may have to fiddle with the machine's settings, however, in order to mimic certain colors on the originals.
