I can't speak about the rest of his family, but I had the distinct pleasure
of meeting his mom at CF11. Yes, his mom. She was working the booth, no
less. I told her that someone had recommended the portfolio "Mixed
Breeds", but she told me that it was sold out, however "...a lot of people
really like the portfolio 'Hardcore'..." and she showed me the binder.
Yes, of course I bought a copy (should have bought far more.) She was
really cool and amazingly supportive of Jim and his art. If I drew things
like Jim did, my mom would have a coronary.
Scrapper, if you are in contact with his family at all, please extend my
condolences to them and tell his mom "Thank you." She is an amazing woman
and I am very glad to have met her.
