When I saw this picture I felt a need to say something. This image is so powerful in it's simplicity, and it shows just how amazingly watercolor can capture the mood of a moment. As is, I'm sitting at my desk fighting back tears as I type this; having gone thought some major losses in my relatively short life, so I know just what others are going though. All I can really say is that while we mourn the loss of a great man and exceptional artist, let's celebrate the fact that he lived and remember what he accomplished. To paraphrase a quote I've read and heard in countless places, don't be sad that it's over, be happy that it happened. Rest Jim, others have taken up the torch and shall carry the standard, you've earned it. *resumes lurking*
