Scrapper, Thylacine created the site and was the owner. He probably still
is, but Thylacine disappeared a long time ago and gave up coming to
the site. (Rumor has it, doubtfully, that a UFO beamed him up.)
How much control Thylacine gave Jim over the site is unknown to me.
He might have given Jim ownership and all passwords and controls. Jim
could change how the site looked so it seems Jim had the passwords
to control the site. If this is the case, maybe Jim's family has those
passwords for ownership control written down somewhere.
I strongly lean to leaving the site as is, with maybe the exception
that the current folders be set to read-only and that new folders be
created for fans who want to upload artwork of the SAMA characters.
A new mod would be helpful so posts don't take forever to get posted.
(I know real life has a tendency to mess things up like overseeing a
website for a single mod.)
A second mod is needed. The only other alternative is to remove mod approval...but that would expose the site to spam. At one time the
site didn't need a mod to post anything.
Group can hammer out what it thinks needs to be done to preserve Jim's creations.

Heh. James created very entertaining worlds with a lot of entertaining characters. The entertainment worked on many levels. It could be subtle.
It could be in your face. It could make you laugh. It could make you
cringe - a lot. (James' antics were sometimes entertaining as well. He
knew how to make waves.)
James was a cartoonist and he wielded his media rather well for any
purpose he wanted. James produced some pretty good artwork, funny
stories, and some characters you wanted to meet in real life.
(Lori, Natasha, Onyx in real life. Let me think about that.)
Furry artist. James was one of the originals with his own style. He helped
move the "funny animal" concept from the '70s and '80s into the '90s ideals.
Not planned, just timed out that way.
It was pretty good all around.
I would have loved to have seen some of his commercial work. James
loved to draw buildings...and cars...and motorbikes...and weapons...andddd...
Just remember. Every time you see the Trio, or any of his drawings, you
are seeing different aspects of James' personality.
James M. Hardiman had talent and he will be missed.
