You're probably right. I was young and impressionable when Walt died. I don't know where I heard (or maybe read) that rumor. I do remember thinking that it was just like him to try something like that and it seemed cool at the time. But then I also believed that flying saucers might be studying the earth. I believed that we would have a colony on Mars in the 1990's. And I generally believed that the future would be one heck of a lot better than it turned out to be. I was greatly over generous in believing that human nature would cause people to use advances in technology to bring up the general quality of life for 'everyone' on the planet. It's it funny how things didn't turn out that way?

If Walt had had his head frozen and if he had been repaired and brought back to life in the 2060's would conditions for people be pretty much the same as they were when he died? Would WE want to live in that world?
