Oh, I say things are a lot better than when Walt Disney died. Not only the technological advances. People who wax nostalgic about the past tend to forget the bad aspects. The 1960's had the Cold War, social unrest including many riots, many countries, especially in Eastern Europe, under the Soviet yoke, etc. I definitely say things are better nowadays.
