Certainly... but that depends upon who's furry world you're talking about. If it's a world of your own design, then you decide. Then there's no wrong answer. The ability to interbreed with Humans or for furies to interbreed with one another is rooted in many possible factors. Are they actually genetically similar in your own furry world? Is scientific help involved? Magic? Potions?

In my own vision of a furry universe, even though I do consider individual exceptions in RPGs at a Player's request, as a rule I permit digigrades to only be interbreedable with fellow digigrades, plantigrades with plantigrades, taurs with taurs, and so on. Such can also be subdivided as such that reptiles cannot interbreed with mammals, or avians, and so forth. Humans then, in my own furry worlds, can interbreed with other, furry, plantigrades- Humans themselves being plantigrades.

If you wish to be able to breed widely different types, then permit it but with a penalty. For example, it a plantigrade interbreeds with a digigrade, make the resulting offspring sterile. Also consider the real-life aspect of possible birth defects- if you want to add a realistic element to whatever you're imagining.

Otherwise, if 'love' is the goal- not offspring- then anything is permissible :-)

    And... consider adopting! :-D
