Ok, everyone, this is Pauline Hardiman here. I want you all to know we are about to wrap up the Skunkworks Graphic Novel that my son, Jim, started several years ago. It is about to happen. August 29th will be the 2nd anniversary of Jim's death. Me and my son, Jonathan, have reviewed so many pictures, portfolios, comics etc. in reference to this novel. We have been in constant contact with Jason Canty of AngryViking Press; in fact I just got off the phone with him a few minutes ago. It's all about the details. You ALL know how Jim was a stickler for detail. Well, we have had 3 colorists work on this graphic novel project. First, Sanny Folkisson, then Battle Angel, third, John Alvarez and last Sanny Folisson came back to complete it. Shortly after we started this project Sanny had another project he was involved in and committed to, so we needed others to help with completing this endeavor. I would like to say THANK YOU to these three colorists here and now. Also a huge THANK YOU to Jason Canty for your mega patience with me and the changes that I insisted on for Jim's Skunkworks Graphic Novel. This was Jim's creation and it had to reflect what Jim would have liked it to look like. Something he would be very proud of even though he is not here to see its completion. I had ask Jason Canty to try to get this project completed by the 2nd anniversary of Jim's death. I can tell you this.... If it isn't done by then, it will be pretty close to that time frame so, it is right around the corner. We wanted this to be something that Jim would be proud to put out there for his fans; and I have a pretty good idea of the high expectations that Jim's fans have of him, even after death. I would like to ask the people that have created this FB Memorial page for my son to please copy and paste this letter from me to Jim's fans on other sites, so people will be informed. I know Jason Canty has had to listen to many complaints and disgruntled folks who wanted this project DONE. Well, we all wanted it DONE too, but we wanted it done RIGHT. That takes time. Jason Canty is a true professional in all aspects of the word in what he does. Jason has told me I will be receiving a final copy to review soon. Once that is done, and all is well, Jonathan and I will give him our blessing to put it in print. Once completed, I think Jim will look in from wherever he is in his next life, and give this project a thumbs up and a wink. His art and his sense of humor will live on forever... in our hearts & memories for those who knew him; and if you didn't get a chance to meet him, just read this graphic novel because he has drawn himself as he really looked at the time into the stories. I so miss him, but I only need to read some of his comics to know he lives on.
