I think a lack of updates on the various JMH-related projects is a big part
of the reason not many people are chatting it up here.

I don't disagree with you about Jim's absence killing the chat. But that
shouldn't come as a surprise. After all, this group was started for him,
and was about him and the works he created. Now that he's gone, folk are
moving on.
It may seem callous, but we can't dwell on the loss forever. We all miss
him, and probably always will. And while carrying the torch for a fallen
friend is a noble gesture, at some point our own lives take precedence.

Jim isn't forgotten.. Not by a long shot. Cliche as it sounds, he will live
on in the works he left behind, and in the memories of those he befriended
and inspired.
