Well, to put it less then romanticly, my own introduction to that which is the
Furry Fandom stemmed from my youngers years on the internet as a *Ahem*
collector on IRC, specializing in art of cartoony variety. Of course, furry art
eventually was thrown into the mix, mostly WB and Disney chars ar first, but
more and more artist and ideas sprung up (I know, bad term to use =P ) afer
doing some searching. I can remember, and I guess I can say it now since it's
well after the fact, coming across some art by Lance Rund, and thinking that he
was just a most fantastic artist. Unfortunately, this coming apon occured at
the same time as Lance was retracting himself from the "Fandom", No, I don't
know the whole story unfortunately, and this isn't the place to get into it
either. But I do know about his work with ASB.
That pretty much started to draw me in even more. Knowing that this "Fandom"
(yes, I tend to use the word a bit) was much more then just a few people
swapping lewd ideas on paper, though what it was "more" of was both good and
bad...
Ok, I'm running off topic. =P
Lance was likely my first real Fur pull into things. Jim, you were up there as
one of the first too, along with people like Xian and Doug. The draw was there
before too, however. Certainly Wolfsbane from New Mutants, though actually I
was more into X-Force, but my readings took me back to the original NM
storylines, and of course X-Force had Feral and her sister as well.
Alright, enough of that. Being sick appearantly makes me blabbery. Though it
does pose another question in my mind, if I may direct it to Jim:
Did you have any early comic influences to your love of art and/or Fur? Fav
artists/titles?

Who's dead in the middle of one of those Killer Flu's himself. Doesn't make
tech support any more fun...
