No chance. It takes about 4 hours to get there, and during that
time, they're doing additional testing on the donor, as well as
trying to keep him/her going in order to keep the organ healthy.
Once I arrive, they have to do a bunch of additional testing on me,
plus prep work. It apparently takes several hours. I'd been there
for almost two hours before they made the call to cancel it, so that
was the approximate time the doc was actually able to observe the
donor organ. I guess they really got to move fast to switch it from
one body to the next.
