I went to Toronto once when I was like 15 sad but i don't think I'll ever get to do a trip like that again.
i Don't remember ever seeing streetcars as funny as that probably sounds. I've heard they still have them in Toronto but I can't say I've seen one that I remember. Funniest thing I did see the all were the stupid people from Iraq lol. There was this family and be somewhere between 40 or more ranging from the age of 7 too 60.
They all decided to at the same time pull their rental car's over to the side of the road and get this just outside the airport on that nice little nose stopping multilane super expressway all of tham get out of thar car's;) and start yelling at the traffic in Iranian and attempt to cross the highway in a human wave fashion;) during rush-hour traffic lol . Some of them weren't even in walkers in on crutches all trying to cross the highway to go stand on Median in the middle of the road and watch the airplanes take off from the airport lol. I can still remember my sister screaming at her husband as he and other drivers literally didn't actually make any attempt to stop and just swerved around people as thay screamed at the drivers in the language of their homeland and the older ones, were swinging walkers and crutches at passing cars lol.
There was even a joke about it on The Simpsons wear Homer Simpson got stuck out in traffic when the light changed from red to green and was bouncing from car too car in the street lol.
another thing I remember from my trip to Toronto were the squeegee kids yet again that at my sister screaming dont stop and her husband nearly getting rear-ended because he had no choice but to stop because there were two or three people standing in front of his car practically on the engine bonnet while others were trying to wipe Windows with dirty cloths lol. Ironically, the same thing. Never did take off in Halifax we had squeegee kids for Maybe 1 summer and that was it.

When I drive through Toronto which is often, I see them take corners and see the boom jump the wire. Sparks everywhere, then the driver gets out and pulls on the rubber wire at the back of the car to the boom and gets it back on track to continue. Toronto is right now fixing Richmond street in the heart of Toronto for the rails in the street. Been working on that for a few years now.
